History
The Jorge Williams School was founded on June 23, 1995 as an initiative of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) of Valparaíso, with the purpose of developing an innovative educational project that would integrate formal education with the comprehensive development of boys and girls.
Located in Cerro Los Placeres, the school arises as a response to the needs of a community with high levels of social vulnerability, seeking to generate real opportunities for personal, educational and social development.
Throughout its history, it has incorporated full-day school programs, food, training workshops, academic support and community work, consolidating itself as a space for comprehensive training and support for its students.

Mission
To develop well-rounded, independent children who are committed to their environment, through a quality education that integrates academic, social, and ethical development.
As part of YMCA Valparaíso, we promote a person-centered educational model that enhances their abilities, strengthens their dignity, and generates real opportunities for growth in vulnerable contexts, contributing to the construction of a more just, supportive, and inclusive society.
Vision
To be an educational benchmark in Valparaíso for our commitment to comprehensive education and social transformation, recognized for developing students with critical thinking, a sense of purpose and leadership, capable of positively impacting their communities and projecting their future with concrete tools for life.
We aspire to consolidate ourselves as an innovative and inclusive educational space, where each student finds real opportunities for development, support and personal growth.
